Monthly Meeting Notes
September 2011

The September 2011 meeting of the St. John's Austin Healey Club was held on Sept. 5, 2011 in conjunction with our Annual Club Shrimp Boil. A big THANK YOU to Gary and Vicki Martz for hosting this event. As usual, it was great fun and the food was delicious. We had a really good turnout and surprise visitors - Andy and Yvette Norton. It was so good to see Andy and Yvette who are long time members of our Club.

Our bank balance was announced at $$$$$$.

Discussion was held regarding the British Car Classic to be held at Buffalo's Southwest Cafe on October 1, 2011. Several members will be attending this show which is always a fun event.

We also discussed the upcoming Southeastern Classic to be held in Guntersville AL on Oct. 20-23. Our Club has 12 members and six cars that will be driving up for this event. We will leave on Wed., Oct. 19th. A Shop Meet should be held for the cars driving to Alabama. Tony Martini will schedule this and let us know. Members attending the Classic are Bill & Judy Young, John & Nancy Leenhouts, Andy and Judy Sanfilippo, Tony Martini, Rick & Marilynn Stevenson, Dyaarl and Gail Anderson and Cindy Bridger.

Car restoration reports were given.

An extremely lengthy discussion was held on our hosting of the Southeastern Classic in 2013.

Our October monthly meeting will be held at Rick Stevenson's office at 7 PM on October 3rd
