Monthly Meeting Notes
November 2011

The November meeting of the St. John's Austin Healey Club was held on Nov.7, 2011 at Picasso's Pizzeria on San Jose Blvd.

Our treasurer was not in attendance, but had advised that our bank balance was $$$$$$.

The minutes of the last meeting were approved.

Stories and details of the SE Classic held on Oct.20-23, 2011 were told. Those of you not at this meeting, missed some good stories. At the final awards dinner our Club won the following awards: Dyaarl Anderson - Best Trailer; 1st Place Craft - Marilynn Stevenson; 2nd Place Craft - Bill Young; Biggest Oil Spot - John Leenhouts; and Dyaarl also won 5th place for his car.

Discussion was held on our hosting of the SE Classic in 2013. Tony Martini went back up to Amelia Island to finalize some plans and reported back to the Club. This will be an ongoing discussion at every meeting.

CHRISTMAS PARTY: Our Christmas Party will be held on December 10th at 6 PM at the home of Judy and Andy Sanfilippo, 7698 Hollyridge Dr. Their phone is 333-1817 (Andy) and 333-1815 (Judy) Everyone is asked to bring a side dish (appetizer, salad, hot dish or dessert) The Club will provide the meat. Please let Judy know if you will be attending and what you will bring. Her email is ajaked@comcast.net

GIFTS: Once again we will bring gifts to exchange. The ladies are asked to bring a $25.00 Christmas themed item. The men are to bring a $35.00 Healey/car related gift.

We will also have our December meeting at this event and new Club officers will be voted on.

PS - If you are paying attention I'm sure you know that the slate of officers above is a joke. You know what happens when you don't attend the meetings - you get nominated. We will nominate a slate of officers at the next meeting so you better be there. Next slate will be for real !!!! :)
