Monthly Meeting Notes
May 2011

The May 2011 meeting of the St. John's Austin Healey Club was held on May 2, 2011 at the home of Tony Martini with twelve members present.

In the absence of our treasurer, Cindy Bridger advised that our Club balance is $$$$$$.

Discussion was held on the minutes from the last meeting. No corrections were made. Car shows during the last month were also discussed. Danny Smith told the Club about his car's restoration.

It was decided to have a Tech Session on Sat. May 14th at Tony's house. ( I understand that a lot of work was completed at the Tech Session).

Future meetings were discussed and Paul Sandefer invited the Club to his home for the July 4th meeting. We will have a meeting and cook-out.

The remainder of the meeting consisted of discussion on the SE Classic in 2013 that our Club is hosting. The main thing that we needed to determine was when and where. Nancy Leenhouts presented the various hotels, pros and cons, and it was decided to go with the Amelia Hotel at the Beach in Fernandina with the Hampton Inn next door as backup. Both are $109.00 per night for a double room. We will have secure parking and the city of Fernandina will allow us to have our car show in town. The dates are April 5-7, 2013 and we will need every Club member's help. Please make sure that you set aside these dates.
