Monthly Meeting Notes
April 2011

The April 2011 meeting of the St. John's Austin Healey Club was held on April 4, 2011 at the home of John and Nancy Leenhouts with eighteen members present.

In the absence of our treasurer, Cindy Bridger advised that our Club balance is $$$$$$.

John and Nancy discussed a rally they attended sponsored by the Jaguar Club. One of the best they have participated in. Erling Onsager advised that his car is up and running. Rick Stevenson advised the Club that Dennis Wiggins has his Healey for sale. Anyone interested contact Rick.

Tony Martini advised that there will be a car show at the Fruit Cove Baptist Church on Sat., April 9th and also another show at Ponte Vedra on Sunday, April 10th. (Separate notices went out on both of these car shows).

Our next meeting will be held at Tony's home - 1641 Inkberry Lane, Jacksonville 32259. His phone is 287-5603. This will be at 7 PM on Monday, May 2, 2011.

The remainder of the meeting was lengthy discussions on our hosting of the Southeastern Classic in 2013. Nancy and Tony checked out some venues and reported. As a group we
decided to keep the hotel rate under $100. We need banquet facilities, hospitality room and secure parking for the car show and overnight. Nancy handed out folders to those who have volunteered for positions. We need to have a firm date and location by our June meeting.
