Monthly Meeting Notes
October 2009

The October 2009 meeting of the St. John's Austin Healey Club was held on Oct. 5, 2009 at The Athen's Cafe.  After having dinner, the meeting was called to order by Tony Martini (in the absence of Rick Stevenson, president).  

Treasurer, Andy Sanfilippo, advised our Club balance is $$$$$$ with a couple of bills outstanding.

A report was made on our Club Shrimp Boil held on Sept. 26th at John and Nancy Leenhout's hangar house.   A good time was had by all and there were seven Healeys and various other cars present.  Thanks Nancy and John.

Tony and Bill Young talked about their great trip up to Tennessee for the Southeastern Classic.   Sounds like they had a good time, saw lots of old friends and had a safe trip up and back in their Healeys with no problems.  They did run into a lot of rain, but that doesn't slow down a "real" Healey driver.

Paul Sandefer took a poll as to who would attend the Shop Meet at his home on Oct. 10th.  Since it seemed that everyone had other things that day, Paul has canceled that Shop Meet.  It will be rescheduled.

Cindy advised that the new Club shirts, hats and visors have been ordered and hopefully, we will have them for the next meeting. 

Volunteers are needed for the Concourse de' Elegance at Amelia Island.  If you are interested, contact Bill Young and he can give you the info.

November is always election month, so be prepared to vote for our 2010 officers at the next meeting.  The nominations are as follows:
